Thanks Michael but still not the song I have in mind. Mike, that may be possible and wouldn't rule it out though it was very authentic sounding. Really hope it's not the case as it'd feel like I'm wasting peoples time here but do have a feeling it was a 1966 recording or thereabouts.

Yeah like the title says I'm trying to remember a track from around 1966 ( I think ) From the little I can remember it starts off with a Farfisa ( I think ) and starts a kind of pulsing sound with it, pretty fast paced with a nice driving bass line. The lyrics go something like.... ( again...
