    Unreleased Wild Thymes LP

They want to release the CD after the LP. The albums have been repeatedly delayed by pressing plant issues but they're hoping they'll be available in the next few months.

    Unreleased Wild Thymes LP

The CD version of this will include bonus cuts by precursor group The Present Daze ("It's Only Her," Ramco, 1966).

Frantically Yours: Phil and The Frantics

New from Ramco Records: "Frantically Yours," a limited CD anthology of Phil and The Frantics. This release includes two previously unreleased tracks (really one-and-a-half, I guess, as one is an instrumental track for which apparently no vocal was recorded), some first-time-on-CD cuts, both...

Skip Groff "Godfather" of D.C. punk rockers R.I.P.

Sad to hear this. I always enjoyed talking to him and bought several cool 45s (the British Walkers' "Watch Yourself" was one I remember) at his store when I lived in the D.C. area from 2001-02.

KINKED! Kinks Songs & Sessions 1964-1971

Alec mentioned this project to me when he was in Phoenix in November. I'm especially interested in hearing the unreleased tape of The Olympics doing "So Mystifying," which Alec speculated could be the earliest example of an American group recording a Kinks song.

Commodore Condello's Salt River Navy Band / Soggy Cereal

I haven't followed eBay sales but I'm puzzled that none have popped up in years. I'll take your word for it though. Anyone who likes the Commodore Condello EPs will want to track down this 2013 CD release of the unreleased LP, with similar parodies of Dylan, James Brown, Johnny Rivers, etc...

Commodore Condello's Salt River Navy Band / Soggy Cereal

Actually, it turns up frequently in Phoenix. It's a $20-$25 record with the sleeve here. There's a dealer at the local record show who has had quantity for years. (She's actually the daughter of the guy who ran the Wallace & Ladmo Drive-In restaurants and helped finance the Blitz releases.) The...

Last Of The Garage Punk Unknowns Volumes 3 & 4

Also, got this in the mail yesterday and it sounds like a winner: http://acerecords.co.uk/dont-be-bad-60s-punk-recorded-in-texas Along with the Last of Garage Punk Unknowns volumes that have come out, there's still a lot of great stuff getting released.

Last Of The Garage Punk Unknowns Volumes 3 & 4

Amoeba Records in Hollywood had a huge stack of the new BFTGs in February (including endcap display), so hopefully they were able to move some copies. I know there is at least one store in Arizona that has been trying to get them in but so far has had no luck with its distributor, who apparently...

The Spiders (Alice Cooper's early band)

Alice must be referring to the arrangement when he says The Yardbirds wrote it!

Reproduction / boot garage 45 list

This Spiders reissue (put out by the guy who owns Mascot now) was previously discussed here. It's got 2011 written in the deadwax. http://www.g45central.com/forum/index.php?threads/spiders-mascot-reissue.529/#post-5992
