I assisted Misty Lane on many of their ‘60s releases and was in frequent contact with label owner Massimo during that time. I can’t 100% state it as a fact, but I don’t recall that being produced.
I’m reading the Disc-O-Teen book, and this group of Fugitives appeared to promote Your Girl Is A Woman. I think the flip, She Believes In Me—a pretty decent moody Beatleish song—is better and should be rated in TBM.
Heat Wave is on both singles. I haven’t heard either and it could be a coincidence, but likely the same group. There are at least a few Minnesota groups that recorded at IGL. Maybe MTM can confirm.
AI.Burnett1966 compiled Forgotten Things #2 so hopefully he can confirm, but I presume they’re the same. Caped Crusader/Boy Wonder always have great 45 presentations with lengthy notes so it’s worth a purchase regardless.
