    Hearing trouble

I, too, have tinnitus, the result of hundreds of concerts without ear protection. I thought ringing ears were for someone else, not a rocker like me. I've paid the price ever since. Fortunately, I can still grade records, though I need headphones these days. I can understand what you're...

The most Them sounding songs in US Garage

"Sleepy Hollow" by the Last Word was the first one I thought of.

    Miscellaneous Photos

The Birdwatchers actually formed in 1960 as the Apollos (the guys on GLO and Mercury) and changed their name to sound more British in 1964. Only two of the originals stuck around by the time of "Girl I Got News For You". Sammy came over from the Mor-Loks, (on Loks & Living Legend), Joey came...

    60sgaragebands.com Vault

I liked it. The piano reminded me a little of "I Could Be So Good To You" by Don & the Goodtimes.

No Social Distancing Required For This Class

I bought the original Nuggets LP when it first came out, mainly to get "My World Fell Down" which I couldn't find on a 45 in those mostly pre-fanzine days. Hearing the Remains and the Chocolate Watch Band for the first time was an amazing bonus.

    (not another ebay thread)

Thanks for the mention. I'm trying to list garage 45s at least once a month. There's a listing up right now, in fact. The hard part is giving up records that I've had for 40 or so years!

    Confines of Garage

We all know what makes a BFTG track shake, rattle, and roll... but beyond the obvious, we're looking at a genre that can and does evolve. 20 years ago it would be unheard of for a moody B-side to get as much love as the A-side, but some of the teen ballads had such great intensity while some...

Dion: Wanderers material on Norton Scheduled for 2017

This ain't your grandpa's Dion. Some of those Columbia tracks are smoking.

    Allentown 45rpm Record Show April 1 2017

Barry S. got a copy of the Undertakers, and if I read his FB page correctly, I think it might be for sale.

    Redcoats - Knoxville, Tennessee (1965)

I take it these are the guys that recorded on the Orchid label. Cool in its own way, but... anyone singing "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" who's dressed up with a bow tie and has perfect hair just isn't very convincing.

    Beyond TeenBeat Mayhem

Mike, I didn't notice Fourmost Authority (Left Hand Lawyer/Dance Dance) in TBM -- were they a non-U.S. group?
