It seems like a few corrections from Beyond Teenbeat Mayhem were not reported in the PDF. For example, Pepper & The Shakers (Coral) were from an unknown location in the original book, then located in Westland, MI (confirmed) in Beyond TBM, then again cannot be located in the new PDF. What source...

Damn ! I put The Bobbies (She Put Me down) in a sort of "best of Alabama" of my own and i read that they were not from Florence, AL (confirmed in printed versions of TBM) but from Tennessee. You confirm i have to move them to an other comp ? (thanks for the fantastic job, so glad to have this...

Hello and welcome ! If you are the lead singer of the Continentals from Abilene, I have many questions, indeed: 1) how the band was formed and who were the members of the group? 2) where did the group play (do you have memories of gigs in particular)? 3) did the group have a manager? 4) can you...

Do you think that the Pastels from Houston (of 'Weird Sound' fame on Push label) are the same group as Charlie Romans & The Pastels who had a regional hit on Hickory with 'Come Back Home'. That's what the compilation Houston Hallucinations says but it's not clear elsewhere. Thanks !

Hello, is it sure that The Continentals of I'm Gone fame are the same group who released Take Me one year later? I've just read on Teenage Shutdown (I'm A No-Count) comp that "I'm Gone was the final 45 before the group packed it in", and that they "waxed up several 45's on the Vandan label...

And to continue the previous talk, a few examples of very underrated songs to me in TBM: Things on my Mind by The Colony, the Chase by Joey Day or Blue Day by The Emperor's. All have a 4/10 rate when I would give them at least 7 or 8.

This book is a mine of information but maybe i noticed a little mistake: impossible to find anything about Randy Hobbs's "You Better Run" on Gator, despite its inclusion in the index (or am I blind??). Certainly not the same Randy Hobbs of McCoys fame as Internet says 1960 for the release date ...
