I came across this by accident while looking for another band's version of Sticks and Stones. Not exactly retro-garage, but seeing young teens doing anything like this seems so rare in the 21st century...

I haven't heard of "primi-garage" - a newly coined term maybe? But I'd say this song is already covered by the classification, "outsider music".

I only knew him only from his recent posts linked above. From his writing, he obviously had a sharp mind. His passion for music was also evident. It is an uncommon thing to maintain passion and sharpness of mind till the end, and a gift to be treasured. God rest his soul!

Yes, knowing what they were capable of with their originals, these covers are a little disappointing, but I still quite like their take on 'Run for your life'.

Glory Rhodes' White Cliffs 45 is unrated in TBM. It can now be rated. IMO, side 1 = 4.4 side 2 = 4.75.
