Just tried it to look for stories but it didn't work.

Asking MTM to tell a story about a quantity find in another thread inspired me to come up with this thread. This is the place to tell cool/bizarre/unbelievable/... stories about how bands were rediscovered by collectors or how quantities were found. Stuff like the Jr. & The Soulettes story...

I didn't try to overanalyze anything. I just wanted to know if what I call 'demented' (i.e. the out of tune guitars that sounds like a miss pressing) was caused by the musicians (they didn't know how to play their instruments very well), or an off-center pressing that detuned their well-tuned...

I'm 100% serious. It's not bad, I like the fuzz sound but I think the "main melody" is average. If everyone would agree on musical taste, talking about music would be boring hehe Stuff that gets me going: Human Expression - Reading Your will, Alarm Clocks - No Reason To Complain, Spontaneous...

That Pandas song never really got me going. Personally, I think it's a bit bland.

@Mr.Segment: Why don't we open up the floodgates :) One of my favourite fuzz sounds is the solo in Piece Kor - All I Want Is My Baby Back. I still remember the first time I heard that song. I didn't see it coming hehe.

I don't really agree that those prank bands (on Shur Shot, ...) had the sound pretty much nailed. The first time I heard Wylde Maniacs I immediately thought something was up. Listen to those songs with headphones and I think you can recognize them as 80s hoaxes pretty easily. But at least...
