Is "How Do You Expect Me" by the Trolls aurally the same version as the one by the Stained Glass?
Our Holy Text (=TBM) says the latter is a remake, but Expo67 on his blog states they are the same track.
Listening to the MP3s I have they sound to my ears like different versions (maybe due to the quality of the soundfiles)...

PS: I'm eargerly waiting for this...

I didn't say that the song was the same. Maybe I should have used the word 're-recorded' instead of 're-used' in my review.

extract from blog: 'Walkin' Shoes' is a beat mover with pleasing harmonica, very much in vogue with the new wave of music from England like The Animals and The Stones. The flip, the folky 'How Do You Expect Me To Trust You?' would be the template sound the band would adopt when signing to RCA Victor and becoming The Stained Glass. Indeed, the song was re-used as the flip of 'If I Needed Someone'.

I'm really looking forward to this CD. I know that it's been 'in the works' for a while now.
