Just stumbled onto this 2015 interview with guitarist Ron Matelic of Sir Winston and the Commons fame:
http://issuu.com/nuvonewsweekly/docs/071515

I ran across it while trying to see if I could find the sheet music/guitar tabs for We're Gonna Love (my 14 year old son got an Epiphone Les Paul last Xmas from Santa, and he's been practicing quite a bit - I figured it was time to learn the Hoosier State Garage National Anthem) - any chance someone in G45 land could help out with that?

"We're Gonna Love" is pretty simple to play
In the key of D
and is based on the typical / standard blues I-IV-V chord pattern.

The groove / riff is on the D chord, verse starts on D along with the lead guitar playing the fuzz riff
then, a change to the G chord (I'm Gonna Get Ready) to A (We're Gonna go Steady) back to G (Spend life together [or something similar] and then D for the "We're Gonna Love" chant.

Thanks guys! I don't play, and my son's been practicing quite a bit (Santa brought an Epiphone Les Paul Custom cherry sunburst last year - it's good to be an only child sometimes). He's in need of some garagey tunes for his repertoire, and homestate heroes Sir Winston seemed like a natural place to start. :sunny:
