Back Beets on Marc - band info?

Anyone (MTM, Mr. Eargasm, Mr. SoundsInteresting) know the story on the band? I just got the 45 and discovered it was a Brite Star/Bryte distributed thing. I was curious about how and why they went that way to get their 45 'distributed' - and if they were told 'it sold 1000s' like some of the other bands that used Bryte. This is the only garage 45 from New England that I know about that's a Bryte deal....any more?

They were a university group, formed while students at Tufts University.

A total unknown to me as far as info...If I recall correctly I found this in a thrift shop in Malden, Mass. It's the only one I've ever heard of besides yours and one that an under the radar friend has...I don't believe Mr Sounds Interesting has this one, but would be surprised if it has eluded our pal MopTop.
