Sad news no doubt for those who knew him well, but after a long time in poor health Bob has passed on. Sarcasm at it's best or worse, depending on how well you got along with him, but a great guy once he let you get under the surface. And to think - a Boston Red Sox fan & proud of it in the middle of Greenwich Village ! His love for music went more towards the vocal group, R&B and early soul side of things & believe me - he had a very serious run of 45s in his collection. A graduate of Columbia University as well, something few ever knew about him.
Today he is linked with being in front of the curve during the 1976/77 UK punk scene, but he really knew his records. Thanks again for all the great records & laughs - I'm going to pull out some of those great sides from 40 years ago & give them a spin in your honor. We have all lost a link to what Greenwich Village was and never will be again.
