The current G45 Requests thread got me to dig back into time and listen to earlier offerings. This folder, that I'd titled "Bosshoss Gospel Flac Attack" actually contains 25 .mp3 files of fairly obscure gospel tracks. Most of the vinyl is seriously distressed so there's little of the eye-opening sonics we've witnessed recently. But there is loads of really exciting gospel.

In any event, do any of you remember this or have I mislabeled the file? If in fact this actually was a "Flac Attack," what were the circumstances? Was this a project done for label? Thanks in advance.

You must mean this one. No labels involved afaik, just for the G45ers' enjoyment.

I'm sure Bosshoss will tell you in more detail. I'd never seen the Flac Attack. But our crazed Mr. Hoss brought the entire Fine Recording Studio, Rochester NY. and shipped it to Australia. These songs were among the mountain of reels.

Thank you both for clearing that up. It's been so long that I'd forgotten the specifics. This is the first I've seen of the jacket -- thanks for posting it. It now resides in the Gospel Flack Attack folder, where it's been MIA for many years.
