Bud Mathis

Hi all
I have a project in mind with 2 unreleased tracks of Bud Mathis, anyone has, by any chance, a contact of a member of his family?
Sadly he passed away in 2019.

Instead of waiting for someone to help you I suggest the following:
Check the death index ( some are free most require payment) to find living relatives. On line obituaries often provide both deceased and living relatives if any.

Find out his last known address and contact City Hall in that city or town. Ask to speak with someone who can connect you with the proper department regarding his property or estate documentation.

"The family moved back & forth from Oklahoma to Texas & Arkansas to seek out any opportunity to make a living, as many know these were difficult times following the Depression.” so it's difficult also to find the last known address.

Forrest "Bud" Mathis' son, Michael Mathis, might still be around. Bud produced an odd 'tax-scam' LP for him back in 1977...with pretty cool re-makes of some of Bud's better Joint Effort songs (and a LOT of really aggressive sitar-plonking). Obviously the family had control of his copyrights at that point. Happy hunting, and please let us all know what you find out...

I checked BMI for track A1 on that LP pictured above.

Update:
I've wrote to the contacts Sebastian sent me without have any reply
Tried also with some "supposed" members of the family but I had the same result
