Hi everyone, I hope all my fellow 'muricans here had a great July 4th holiday

While it makes me very happy to know that some fine folks in Hamburg are making the Tr*mps and their crooked ilk feel totally unwelcome, i'm hopin that good ol' Tim Warren and his record shop will make it through the chaos in one piece

has anyone around here heard from Tim and the Crypt crew since the protests began?

They may be making Trump and co. feel unwelcome but the only people they are hurting are innocent Germans. ASSHOLE DICKHEADS!!!!:madd:

The Crypt Store is in my neighborhood, 5 minutes walk from my home. It hasn't been damaged. It lies in the basement and hardly even looks like a store if you don't know better.
Regardless of your opinion about G20 or Trump, the past days have been a drag to all people who live in this part of town. I'm glad when it's over.

Tim lives in Berlin and should be doing fine!
 
Good to hear everything is ok with the shop, but it's definitely NOT good to hear that innocent people are getting hurt.

I stand corrected, the protester folks are not fine, imho zealots are usually evil no matter what side they're cheering for

I got alotta friends here in the states involved with anti-Tr*mp activism and such, them and their preferred (biased) news sources make the summit protests seem like a real righteous good thing, but as usual the American left is proving to be pretty clueless

One of the main things that irks me about the typically violent G20/WTO protests is that they are referred to in the media as "anarchist" events. There's nothing "anarchist" about being an 'anti-capitalist' leftist who is being bankrolled by international corporate interests and infamous currency manipulators like that toad-faced old Esperanto fan from Hungary (who will remain nameless here). Glad to hear that Timmy's shop is intact.
