Ok, the thread about the Steadfasts/Cashions 45 got me thinking about my favorite mangled English language song titles in our little world here, so here`s a few:

Mops - I`m a Mops
Little Chris and the Boumerangs - Girl of Radium
Lords, Los Flippers - Don`t Mince Matter

These are just a few examples, please, let`s hear more...bonus points for pic sleeves!

haha man this is a cool thread.

I think there are some really strange dutch records out there, but myself and friend were recently saying, the dutch accent is so damn killer that it doesn't matter.
I will get my thinking cap on and try and post some recommendations in a while.

Intense version of "Too Much Monkey Business" by swedish combo Jean Lundens... :boggle:

.. this would be PERFECT to open up a sub-selection with only versions of Monkey Biz.. if not from the US or UK, each singer just sang it in his own private language (and sometime even english speaking bands would create an impromptu-version.....).. Dadaismus at it's best!!! Sure after 30 or so versions you'll feel kind of seasick...

The Shakers 1st 45 - Too Much Monkey Business
!!! The singer didn't know the lyrics so he just sang some garbled made-up-on-the-spot swenglish (sounds like the Swedish chef in the Muppet show or something...) when they did a take. The company released it 'as is' to the dismay of the embarrased singer :)
It's a real cool n' punky version with 2 wild guitar breaks btw
