For all the Remains' fans!!

Sundazed posted a message about this on their Facebook page a couple of months ago.
Here's the sleeve:

CAN NOT WAIT!

Had the pleasure of chatting with Mr Sundazed recently, and he said it was in the pressing procedure even as we spoke..

My guess is that for a band who doesn't have anything even close to being a G45 (every US record by them except 'Talking To You' is relatively common), by virtue of the sheer greatness of their recordings and live shows, The Remains come up in this forum more than any other non G45 band.

there are always cool and up-to-date news posted on sundazed's facebook profile. i think many labels don't bother updating their website when it can be done with a click on facebook, which i think is a good & time-saving thing.
re: remains: good to finally getting a good quality version of this cool song. i wonder if the remains still got some unreleased stuff in their vaults. i remember reading an interview done just before their breakup where they are stating that they just recorded some experimental music, can't remember the exact words. so, where is this stuff? or, is there a good recording from the beatles tour, apart from the bad-sounding one that is available? i wouldn't be surprised if the beatles had something like this.

For some reason I'd thought this was going to be a record store day release, glad it's something everyone who wants one can get!

So cool to see the EP sleeve they've based the single sleeve on!

Cool the original photo session was archived, wonder if the below pictured was taken before or after?

Certainly one of the most baffling (and rarest) foreign releases of US garage. Perhaps only beaten by the French 13th Floors Elevators EP? Though the latter, however pleasing the design is, does not feature a unique color picture of the band at hand.

Gotta say the French issued We The People EP(s) are mighty WAY left field. 'Specially the super ultra cool color covered one on the train.

Quite an achievement, that through the sweep of many circa 80's - 90's Euro record fair's I attended I never ONCE saw either offered for sale. OK, a beater B&W was once on offer, from a dealer so odious I'd have been challenged to accept it even it it were for free.

It took a fair measure's of treasure & transit's through 'Blighty to finally unleash the 13th EP that, post 20 + years of stewardship stateside, is currently nesting in Utrecht.

Doh, forgot those. Yes, they are quite striking. Intoxica had the train one + the 2 track 45 in their wall cabinet late 90s (?) The prices, at the time, were quite staggering

For some reason Sundazed are only making 100 copies of The Remains 45.
Most of these will have probably been taken care of by trade, friends, sundazed hangers on etc.

Looks like most of us on here could be disappointed.

I believe they are making only 100 in colored vinyl (the rest I assume will be standard issue). I've posted all the new Sundazed reissue news on my News & Nuggets page, including info on Oscar & The Majestics releases, a live Fever Tree set, and the Neighb'rhood Child'n LP reissue.

Yes, only 100 gold coloured copies, I'm sure they're making at least a thousand regular copies. So we should all be able to get a copy.
