CONTEMPORARIES "Fool For Temptation" (Richie) $sold
Looks VG minus - plays VG
A very difficult 45 to find in top condition, I've never found one better than my collection VG+ copy.
This one has several small to mid size surface scuff marks from not being kept in a sleeve.
Most would grade this copy VG.
Not a playworn / beat copy by any means.
Playback = strong, only lite crackle on lead in groove and fade-out. Loud mastering, no surface noise heard during music playback.
Labels are clean, only shows some slight soil/ringwear at ridge bevel.
GOOD FEELING "Tale Of A Man" (Eagle) M- store stock - unplayed (til I got it) $sold
Under-rated Canadian low, rumbling beat Stones-y punker. I only see a tiny surface mark on A side the size of a pencil eraser when held up to light.
flip side is good, too.
HAMILTON PEACH "With The Girl That You Love" / "One Way Ticket Down" (CEI) $40
weak VG (scuffy)
plays VG++
Young kids sounding ballad-beat organ jangle a side, cool farfisa organ instro mover flip.
The record surface is covered in small lite scuffs that dull the surface, but it plays much better than it looks, & loud mastering! Label has mild wear.
MID-KNIGHTS "Mamie Lou" / "I Don't Have To Wait" (Style) $150
VG, has lite small sized surface scuffs on both sides, but lots of vinyl sheen/shine
a side plays VG+
B side plays a bit of surface noise crackle for first 10-15 sec.
Their 2nd 45, "Pain" / "Why" turns up routinely, but not this one, their first record. Extremely scarce.
both sides are cool invasion type sounds, "Mamie Lou" side is a fast rockin' mover, B side Beatles meets Byrds styled beat is also good
Labels have some wear but graphics are fine (Gold/brown label will show wear easier than most other mid-dark colors.)
PRINCETONS "You're My Love" (Phillips) $sold
VG+ due to playwear
bb hole, stock copy label, clean surface,
The hardest to find by this group and by far their best single - Kinks meets Raiders with attitude.
Promo copies are scarce, stock even more difficult to come across.
PSYCHOS "Blue River #3" / Pebbles And Stones" (Tiki) Virginia group $30
"Blue river" side grades VG, plays VG+ the Rolling Stones inspired punky 'better side'
"Pebbles.." side VG minus with a 1/4 inch straightline "skidmark" - no loud ticks or clicks during playback. Has slight dip warp, NAP.
Name in red marker on labels, otherwise labels very clean, non-worn.
QUESTS "Scream Loud" / "Psychic" (Fenton) G+ $40
"Scream Loud" side grades G+, 5-6 large straightline scuffs... plays with a bit of distortion in some vocal parts. Was received from someone who graded it VG!
"Psychic" instrumental side vinyl looks better and plays VG.
Labels show lite wear, very clean.
A nice, cheap filler copy.
SQUIRES "Going All The Way" / "Go Ahead" (Atco) $sold
super clean M- vinyl stock copy, small bb hole - the 'small print' / plastic products pressing.
