Hey guys,

I just received a mail from Craig "the universe is permeated by the odor of cerosine" Moore saying they will come to Europe in June this year, probably for the last time. The concert here in Munich is fixed, and I think they'll do some in Italy and Spain. But anyone in Europe interested in GONN playing in your hometown or wherever (with the means or contacts to organize it), please let me know and I'll send you Craig's contact via pm.
I saw them twice and they were just really great. 60s Punk will never again be as authentic as they are. Well, let's not be too fatalistic, but how can it be anything else than the fucking truth... ? ;)

Yours,
Sonn of a Gonn

Good to see them out playing again, I'm sure it will be a fun show. Craig is such a nice, musically obsessed dude. Always great to talk music with.

Unfortunately nobody contacted me. Hey buddies, no GONN to France, Laurent? No GONN to Sweden, Mass? No GONN to England or Norway? No GONN to Hamburg? What a pity!
At least we're close to fixing Berlin. Anyone from Berlin who would help out promoting it as good as he can, is very very welcome! I'm doing that just for you guys (and GONN of course), so that you don't have to travel to Munich. ;)
Please, dear sires, a little bit more action for the CAUSE!
We're talking about a dying art form here.
It's time for ACTION!

Fuzzfully,
A.

It just so happens I'm going wining, dining & record whining over at one of the usual booking suspects tonight. I'll ask if they might be interested, but if no shows in Sweden I doubt Gonn would bother.

Also, interest in these type of concerts is minimal amongst the young(er) ones. Standells couldn't even fill a small club the last time they were up here.

Thanks. What did he say?

GONN will be in:

* Berlin, Bassy Club, on the 22th of June
* Munich, Atomic Café, on the 26th of June (with our group The Royal Flares having the great honour to support them)

I tried to arrange concerts in Hamburg in Frankfurt for GONN, but it didn't work out. The singer of Superpunk was really trying to help out, but it was difficult. Although Hamburg has a great reputation of being Germany's legendary 60s beat town (Star Club, Rattles etc.), it seems there are not many there to keep up the spirit...

Yeah, it's a bit niche. I used to run a venue in Aberdeen, Scotland and the one 60's act we had, Sky Saxon, lost at least 80% of the costs. Unless it's a festival where enthusiasts are travelling from a wide area it can be a really tough sell.

I'd love to make it to one of the dates above but it's too tight for me. I'll probably next be in Germany in November. I was at the Atomic Cafe last time I was in Munich, cool place.

at this point

June 22 - BERLIN Bassy Cowboy Club confirmed
June 23 - TBA
June 24 - VIENNA TBA
June 26 - MUNICH Atomic Cafe confirmed
June 27 - TBA
June 28 - GENEVA (confirmed)
June 29 - TBA
June 30 - FESTIVAL BEAT, Piacenza, Italy confirmed (maybe this night will be with The Sorrows)

I'm very sad to announce that the GONN Europe tour 2012 has been cancelled.
It was impossible to arrange more gigs for the group, although Craig tried what he could. Thus the tour couldn't be financed.
I really wished I could have seen them once more. Now I doubt I will ever again see an original 60s garage band as good as they were, if any at all...
