Not sure if this would be of any interest, but figured I'd check and see.

For my own personal enjoyment/use, I have compiled certain garage themed comps. Naturally, when it comes to "moody" "teen-combo" etc... we are all going to have different opinions about what constitutes and what doesn't.

With the above being said, I have a couple of comps that may be fun for a listen. I'll say in advance that there are no new music surprises (most of you have probably heard these before). In fact, a good portion come from this forum. If there's any interest, I'll be happy to upload.

The theme's are
"I can't believe this isn't 1960's garage"
and
"I can possibly believe it's 1970's garage"

Please keep in mind that because many of these songs were shared among our "society" ... that these two comps also fall under the same society guidelines (to be enjoyed by members and not shared to the public).

The first comp (as you may have guessed) is music from the early 70's that sounds like 1960's garage.
The second comp is more of a transition to the 70's from 1960's garage influence.

The music within these comps would not be possible without the generosity from current forum members. And my enjoyment and ability to make these comps would not be possible without Mike's labor in publishing TBM.

If there's any interest, let me know. If not, that's okay too. I'll close by saying a big thanks again to forum members for their generosity!

As mentioned previously, there are no new surprise songs among these comps. If you’re part of the secret society, it’s likely that you already have most if not all of the tracks.

Comps I’ve made were for my own enjoyment. I say this because….some of you may see songs that you might think aren’t “garage” enough or wonder why some songs are missing from this theme. The answer is… either certain songs weren’t my cup of tea or I haven’t heard it or have it.

Basically, I figured that since there’s not been a lot of download traffic on the forum lately, I’d offer up something that may or may not be of interest. My contribution to this forum has been very minimal (offering up only one acetate to the G-45 list). I wish I could do more because my listening pleasure has been so enhanced by the generosity of other members (songs below, I'm sure many members will recognize as their contributions) .

Thanks Mikael. I didn't know this. After reading your post and doing some searching, I stand corrected.

Looks like I'll have to remove this from one of my personal compiles to another. This isn't the first time (I previously did this with Fallen Angels - Bad Woman).

Both of these comps look really interesting to say the least. If you were to post these I would definitely want to hear them.

I'm happy to share, Jeff (and anyone else).

I had thought of uploading these to my google account for sharing, but I'd like to first check with Mark and Mike first for the okay.
Many of these songs are from the society here and I wish to respect the guidelines of keeping these available for members and not to outside public. When I receive a follow up (here or PM) I'll know best how to proceed.

Thank you - it's late here so I've only listened to a couple of tracks but I really like what I've heard so far. I do an online radio show and this may inspire a special set of 70s garage for my next show.
