Jan Savage RIP?

Rumblings are that Jan Savage of the Seeds passed away on August 5. If this is true it’s received ZERO national coverage and that’s a shame. He and his contributions to ‘60s rock deserve better.

That's sad news if true. The Seeds are the #1 garage rock band of all time in my book.
Which also means they are the #1 ROCK band of all time in my book! If you average the scores out of 10 for all their songs, how could they lose? I guess the Sonics would have a fighting chance. Let's call them equal first!

The greatest Seed is no more....all hail to the king of the garage guitar chops... No doubt in my mind he did not just co wrote their arguably greatest songs, he just wrote them by himself.....
