Got my copies today & both volumes are top notch. A departure from previous sets - these tracks are moodier, & more downtroden with a few scorchers included. The usual notes, photos & label shots we have come to expect. Just to clear things up - these sides sound fucking great - I repeat, these sides sound fucking great !

Both are fabulous additions to this series !

Listened to Vol. 7/8 last night and it is amazing. One of the best in the series with some great new discoveries. Amazing sound quality.

It's such a pity this series, it seems, ends with the eighth volume....
When we talk about 60s garage comps no doubt: CRYPT RULES!

Despite the title I consider LOTGPU like a continuation of the Teenage Shutdown series (like it was planned originally).

I'm curious : why The Graystokes (spelling on the Tri Con 45 as seen on #6 cover) are spelled "Grey" on the track list, as well as in TBM and in the old Signed DC comp?

Beyond Teenbeat Mayhem rectifies this...

Label says Greys Tokes (actually - not even Greystokes). But it could've been a typo and the group really was called Graystokes.

I don't see a space on the picture seen on the cover. anyway, no big deal, was just curious because the band seems to be unknown yet everyone changed the spelling. a typo is possible of course but it could also be a choice to spell it with an "a" for whatever reason?
