I've updated this 2011 article with some new graphics, and added dates for most of the newspaper clippings.

Leo Ellis was still playing (in country bands) in Austin in the 1980s.

It's funny how everything in Texas ultimately gets back to country music. Even Stacy Sutherland was playing in a C&W group before his death.
