Liverbirds, where art thou?

Anyone like those Liverbirds?

I was watching some old Beat Clubs and wondering if there has been any coverage in modern mags of the Liverbirds. I've seen short bits in old mags and hardcover annuals but can't remember anything lengthy anyway or any interviews. Hoping there is a Record Collector or a Mojo I missed (have missed loads of both over the years.) Website links welcomed too, thankee!

Big Beat/Ace issued a CD in 2010 of the complete star-club recordings of the Liverbirds. The booklet has lots of photos. The writing is by Mick Patrick and is well done.

I knew I should have gotten that thing, but I had both their Star Club albums already (and some stray tracks on a comp or three).

Thanks! I don't normally think of facebook as I'm still a refusenik towards it.

They were compared to the Beatles but I think of them more as female Small Faces.
