Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Clyde Atkinson and I was a member (keyboard player) of the Wild Ones based out of Richmond, VA in the mid '60s. There were a lot of good groups here back then including the Barracudas and the Fugutives, pretty good music scene here on into the '70s when Bruce Springsteen/Steel Mill were here. Love looking through this site and reading about other's experiences with garageband music. I quit playing in bands many years ago (quit playing period from mid'70s to mid '80s), started playing again for my own pleasure around '86 and got into programming synthesizers. I spend some of my free time these days as a forum specialist on YamahaforumsUK answering questions about synths. Anyway, good to be here and I'll share any information I have if something comes up that I know about.

That would be correct. No, we didn't record anything else, we were working on a followup 45 when the bass player/vocalist quit the band. Since he was a co-writer on the two new songs, we did not record them. It was not the end of the band, we brought in a sax player at that point who could also play bass/rhythm guitar (I had played with him in an earlier group) and later added a second sax player. The second sax player left us after a few months to go to the Barracudas, a few months after that Uncle Sam drafted our lead guitarist and that pretty much ended the group.

Tu-Lang sounds like the background vocal part to "He's So Fine" Tu-Lang Tu-Lang Tu-Lang.

The Tu Lang label name belonged to Meade Productions, they handled getting the record to market, so we did not own the label name. Not sure why Mr. Meade chose that name, he and his son (or one of his sons) played in another Richmond band (The Commanders if I remember correctly). You may be familar with his daughter, who I first saw performing with the family's band as a youngster, Donna Meade, who later went on to Nashville and ended up married to Jimmy Dean. Sandy, Payne, and Sandy would be band members Bill Sandy (rhythm guitar), Ralph Payne (bass guitar), and Jim Sandy (lead guitar).
