Q65 - Greatest Hits

I'm listening to this LP from 1972 and I have a few questions:

1. Is this LP "true" stereo?
2. Is the version of "From Above" different than the 7" version?
3. Are any other songs different versions than the originally released versions?

The first few 45s are all MONO so I'd guess it's not true stereo on the Greatest Hits.

They could had easily been remixed into stereo for 70s Greatest Hits LP. That was the case many times.

I used to have Q's greatest hits on vinyl back in the days. On the backside it read "electronically enhanced to create stereo sound". Useless to say it sounded horrible. Sixties 45's were true mono, on their Revolution album are a few true stereo songs. From Above does have an alternate take that is almost equal to the released 45 version.

Revolution was entirely remixed into stereo in 1969 or so. Some new stereo mixes of early 45s are on new box set that just came out.

Mono is the way to go, get an earlier issue in mono

Just get this cd if it's still available, all a Q65 affiniado needs, everything mono and stereo as it was intended

Obviously you didn't look around much and read the info for any of his album projects. Profstoned is world famous for his remasters. Plain old ripping?! Yer a regular laugh riot.
