Questions about band member refusals

Nicest guy I ever met was Faine Jade! He was sharing all of his memories and really laughed about some of his shenanigans. He told me everything about how his records came to fruition.
And no he didn't have any 45's or albums to spare.
He was just a bit hyped up by some English guys who had told him that they could get his album in the top 10 over there.
Of course that never happened and he was happy just living his own life and relishing his obscurity status.
A truly nice guy! We are not worthy lol
My ex did a bit of cover art for some reissue ep's. I actually gave him a copy of the It Ain't True 45 and that made him smile.
A true hero of mine and a fabulous guy with lots of great stories.
Didn't have the Rustics?

He sold me a copy. What a classic 'New York' record that A-side is! I could imagine Dion & the Belmonts doing it in '58 or
Johnny Thunders and The Heartbreakers doing it in '78 and it still being be super-hip spin...

- They moved on to play "better" music (often blues/country) and are embarrassed by the "poor quality"/playing)
Quite a few, who continued their careers as muscians have completely axed their Teenbeat period from the bio/discography.
This is a primo example of this. This group - Last Image - recorded the absolute deadly two-sider in Leaving You/She's On My Mind in 68. Their new band, which consisted ALL members of The Last Image, has wiped their background completely.

Took about seven years, but I finally got to chat with Ed Uecker from the Weeds.
Snipped from a comment:
Lee Peterson and I recorded this and the flipside "Ten More Shopping Days to the Bomb" in 1967 in the film viewing room in the photo lab on Edwards AFB and here it just POPS onto my screen while I'm wandering around on FB. I must admit, I have NO idea where the drums came from. It was me singing and electric guitar and Lee on a Spanish guitar. And as far as I know there was only 1 pressing (I much prefer the other side). And to set the record straight, Lee and I were both IN the USAF when we recorded these and after @ 2.5 yrs at Edwards, I did get shipped off to Vietnam where I was an Aerial Combat Photographer.
