Recent Crypt Digipak BFTG Reissues: Is There A Problem w/ the Treble?

I just unsealed a copy of the recently re-mastered BFTG vol. 5 vinyl as well to see if it has got the same issues as the CD counterpart. Yes, it has got the same incredible amount of treble/sibilance. The Keggs is similar to the one above. War Lords "Real Fine Lady" was pretty much unlistenable.

I have a feeling that something might've gone wrong late in the mastering process, perhaps at the pressing plant. Sounds like the result you can get when you have been in a studio mixing/mastering for 10 hours at loud volume and your ears are shot...

It's a pity, because BFTG 9/10 and LotGPUs 1-5 sound fantastic, both the CDs and LPs.

I hope I'll be forgiven for doing this, but I'm going to lock this thread now. A point has been made, and maybe it's valid. Everyone has to use their own ears to decide. There's no fault implied for anyone giving an honest opinion, for or against. But to show support to Tim and not allow more criticism than is reasonable for what is after all the greatest comp series ever made, I declare this topic closed.
