Sealed Mono Beatles Butcher Album

It doesn't look like an original seal.
In photos 2 & 3, there's a seal seam across the bottom . The seam was generally flush with the cover seam.
In photo 1, you can see in the upper right corner that the shrink is a little looser and wrinkled; also to a lesser degree in the lower left corner. I think it should be tight.
Can't really tell from the photos the legitimacy of the cover itself. Still, the back cover doesn't look 60s, but it's hard to really say from the photo.

Pretty much exactly what I was thinking. I'm meeting him tomorrow since he's close by, hopefully once it's in my hand I'll be able to tell if it's legit or not. thanks a lot

It'll definitely sort it self out once you see the actual record. I couldn't really tell from the photo if the cover had the pasted on slicks or it was printed on.

I recently found a mint U.S. 1st press 'non-butcher' version. Great-sounding U.S. Beatles LP..."And Your Bird Can Sing" really has balls for a change.

Is there something special to look for that makes it a non-butcher 1st press?

The RIAA on the rear looks a bit fuzzy, as do the song titles to the left of it. Also, the shrink looks a bit "brittle", it ought to be smooth and polished, not jagged / ragged & crunchy if that makes any sense. What I refer to is my experience with 70's / 80's era reseals.

So, I meet up with the guy. And he hands me the record and I turned my head and did not look at it. I could tell immediately that it was a repro. It was too light, too thin and was easily bendable. Had all the hallmarks of a 80s or 90s repro. I told the guy it was a repro without even looking at it and he said "how can you know that by just holding it" Luckily I brought 1 of my peeled copies which also happens to have a number 6 at the lower right corner. And I showed him that his LP had no similarities to mine. Paste on cover etc. He quickly agreed and actually opened the LP. Sure enough, thin ass blue vinyl, although it has a repro original black rainbow label. Anyway, he was cool about it. At Least I stopped him from calling other collectors/dealers too sell it. By the way, I have 9 or 10 copies right now, all mono (never found a stereo copy) all but 2 with the pasted on cover, most good candidates for a professional peel. 1 has a fairly decent peel the other kinda sucks. I sold a awesome near mint peeled cover 5 years ago to a guy who begged me for it. I told him it wasn't for sale. He said "What's the I don't want to sell it price?" I said $1200. SOLD!!!
