In my quest to avoid PayPal and extortionist bank fees I came across this service https://transferwise.com/en . Has any forum member used this yet ?

A quick perusal of their website shows they are not as good as paypal with regard to servicing customers from the USA.
Debit card transactions = no transaction offered for US dollars.
Swift transfers - which, despite fees, is the best way to transfer large cash amounts internationally - they mention fees but are not specific. Since both sending and receiving banks charge a fee percentage, why bother with this service, who will also take a fee percentage? They even claim they cannot deliver the full amount in total.
I know people hate fees, but you gotta accept that when you do money by internet, especially from different countries.
