I just found this in a stack of 45's... Can't find any info or a value. Also, not sure how to grade but it plays through without skips or ticks.

Missed this post, apologies. It's a great record, one of 3 released by the band on the The Sonics Inc label. MTM advises that the band were just called the Sonics, not Sonics Inc.

All their 45s came with great picture sleeves, including "You Don't Hear Me". The value of your copy will depend on if it still has the pic sleeve, and the condition. A mint copy with mint pic sleeve would go well over $1,000, up to $1,500. But a vg minus copy without the picture sleeve might only be worth $200-$300.

The goldmine grading system is helpful in some ways, but flawed I think, because they try to mix up visual and audio grading into the one system.
For example, their definition for vg records :
"groove wear is evident on sight"
"when played, a vg record has surface noise"

You can't do that successfully, it has to be one or the other. Strict visual grading, with additional notes regarding sound quality if necessary, is the way to go in my opinion. Also, records which "lack most of the original gloss" are probably g+ records, not vg records. In my collection of over 10,000 records, only a handful would "lack most of the original gloss", thankfully.
