Teenbeat Mayhem comps

TW recently posted on FB some intriguing pics featuring the artwork of 3 of the 7 volumes of a new series called Teenbeat Mayhem. As some of you here may have contributed / helped with this new series, and now that it's officially announced, would you have some infos regarding those comps ? what's the concept ? why do they display the same name as MM's book ?

3 Graves were also announced (seems like TW finally dropped the triple LP concept for vol.9, which would be a great news.... but as he assured a while back that this vol.9 would see the light on a triple mammoth LP only, that's still unsure), as well as a double Ho-Dad Hootenanny vol.2, but that seems all of a sudden so much releases in the pipeline that I still wonder if this will all materialize... Let's just hope it will, and as soon as possible !

Anyway, any infos about those comps will be much welcome !

The BAKER label appears to exhibit a modicum of wear. VG- or thereabouts. What a shame, I suppose we'll have to pass on these...

Tim could not find the masters (the films and other files) for the last four Teenage Shutdowns we did. As it turns out, the manufacturing plant lost them somehow. Tim scrapped plans to spend money for a repressing / update and decided instead to title the comps as Teenbeat Mayhem, he asked me what I thought and I said it was fine by me.
I doubt that he will be doing any more comps once these and the 3LP Back From The Grave set are out.

does that mean that Teenbeat Mayhem is supposed to be the follow-up of the TS concept ? TS were aimed to display a lot of previously comped tracks as well, but in optimal sound quality according to TW's criteria. Is that gonna be the same on Teenbeat Mayhem ? Or is that gonna be rare and uncomped stuff only, but that wasn't selected for Grave 9 ? In that case, Teenbeat Mayhem would continue where GPU stopped ?

I doubt that he will be doing any more comps once these and the 3LP Back From The Grave set are out.

So these were re-christened "Last of the GPU" by now? Or are we talking about two new small-scale series?
