I guess we missed this one.
Personally, I can't hack the lounge at happy hour vocalist and the coronet / trumpet wankery. a horn section that plays in tune and provides some backbone sometimes works, but not in this situation. Maybe the horn player paid for the recording session? A potential 5 or 6 rated tune plummets to the lowest of lows.
Citing appropriate kudos to the great, late Billy Miller for his review of "Crying All Alone" as scribed in an issue of Kicks magazine: He bought the record without hearing it beforehand in the '70s and thought he scored a great garage disc while playing it, then along comes [his words] the Herb Alpert mouth weenie solo , ruining the tune.
