The driving wheels- one year ago today

Hard call. Hasn't sold in a minute on the ebayz according to popsike (not that they are flawless at covering all of what sells there)... That VG to VG+ copy in 2010 sold for $39... So in 2021 dollars that would be a good chunk more. 3 people have and 68 want according to discogs (and it has not sold there). Sounds like a job for the ORACLE™
I think I paid like $100 for mine (and it is like VG-) several years back.....Seemed like a fair deal at the time? Who can tell.

It is very hard to find. Having said that, once I got my copy 10 or more years ago, I stopped looking.

The G45 Oracle says a near mint copy should be worth $448, vg+ $323 and vg $216. Oracle ratings are S6/S4/R7/L6

In the old abandoned ratings project, MTM said R6, buckeyebeat said R7. In this case I think R7 is probably closer considering only one copy has ever been sold on eBay according to Popsike. That's not a lot!

Here's a visual of a very nice copy

Of all the absurd jobs connecting youth culture and business in the sixties, running the PanAm 45-branch must have been even better than promoting "Waleeco" candy bars with a psych-rock LP.

I bought one from Doug Hanners, $60 . I am pretty sure he had a few since it was set sale, and I rarely got anything I wanted from his set sale section of his lists.
Found a 2nd M- at the Alabama record show not long after from Dave Foreman for even less. The big buy from Dave that day was Frank Ventura & the Crescents.
Traded the spare Driving Wheels away to another collector who eventually dumped all his 45s to collect rare '60s LPs.
