The Grimm is an original rock band formed in the 1960's. Lost Tracks album is a compilation of songs written in the 60's and never released until now.
The Grimm is best known for its hit single, The Darkness and The Night, which was released by SVN Records and manufactured by Capitol Records. Upon its release, this single began climbing local Top 40 charts and quickly selling out in record stores. The Darkness and The Night climbed over groups like The Byrds, The Four Tops, The Everly Brothers, and even The Beatles.

I buy these releases often times completely unheard and my CD is on its way. However...and it's the first time I'm hearing it...I like that snippet of 'I Live For Today'. Sunshine pop for sure, and it's obvious they were going for a radio-friendly sound. TBM recorded their single a 5, so I'm hoping there are other varied sounds within.

Don't get me wrong, I like the snippet too - it's just not the most incredible '60s music I've ever heard :)
As a '60s comp collector I have learned not to believe anything I read in the cover blurb.
