The missing USA Garage Greats volumes

And that would be? MopTop, Boss?
There are many places anyone can hear a song or sound clip if needed. I refuse to support any of these sites that post extraordinary amounts of music that people(some of them on this very forum) have invested a lot of time and money into only to be undercut by them being distributed for free worldwide. The folks at Sundazed, Norton, Arf Arf, Crypt, Frantic, etc don't need competition from the living room pirates when nearly every release is an economical risk to begin with.

BAM:yikes:

I wouldn't think there is any difference between posting music that is already available in legitimate formats and if someone unilaterally decided to make the entire Teenbeat Mayhem book available to download without MTM's permission. I also think there is a significant difference in the forum comps that members on a long lost forum used to distribute amongst themselves and the indiscriminate bootlegging of a massive catalog of music to a worldwide audience. I think most of us engaged in those comps can agree that once we realized they were leaving the little bubble of our small collectors realm and being posted on file sharing sites, it killed the concept.

I'm wondering if a group of us who have all or most of them should get together and start a blog & put links to all of them so they are in the one place again. I think gyro meant them to be freely available but then the blog got closed and eventually the links expired. Does anyone know the deal with zippyshare - do those links expire?

They expire if there is no activity on them for 30 days

Please do show me where you can buy the 'USA Garage Greats' Series. A link to one of the volumes from one of those 'Stores' you are talking about will suffice .....
NO, not the series, most of those songs on that series can be bought on various comps. This is not a bootleg site!
