Hi!

I've got a simple question for all of you out there who love this 45 and who also own an original copy. I have bought this 45 three times. All were M-, ALL had the same hairline crack. Very, very hard to spot. Could this be why it is quite scarce? Was it a faulty, or extremely fragile pressing run?

It drives me nuts!

Still looking for a M- copy if anyone is holding.

I have this pressing. apparently it is a late 1967 re-pressing, but it is in stereo (not true stereo).
My copy is perfect, mint minus. Don't see any hairline crack. Where is it located?
Have it in my sale box for WFMU

Where is it located?

I'll check the two I currently have (one is getting returned thankfully, the other was bought from a certain Boston band member, just try reasoning with him….)

For what it's worth, I think both the first mono pressing, and the later fake(?) stereo sounds absolutely smashing!

The cracks are at separate angles vs. the deadwax info. Must be a really brittle pressing then.
