I'm not a member of the Facebook group so can't read the thread. Is this the Minnesota Society? Does it mention which label is doing the reissue?

It's just a collector who turned up the acetate somehow. He's going to press it up, and I believe Barry Wickham will have copies to sell. I assume it will be on a private, one-off label. I won't be doing the transfer. Much as I like the acetate, it's literally falling to pieces and could rip a stylus apart in a split second.

Apparently it's Adam Blessing (Cleveland, Ohio), pre Damnation Of Adam Blessing.

The Master Tape exists for this recording. The band has not authorized a release of this from the acetate and are releasing this from the master shortly. If you know the person that wants to BOOT this of the acetate please let them know.

It would be a shame if someone booted this before the band could put it out from the master.

I own the acetate and have not had any proof that the band has anything. All I have had is Matthew Baker trying to get it from me. If someone can prove to me that the master tape exists and it is a band member that has it and they are releasing it, then different story

I have been in contact with Ken Constable and it is definatly a pre Damnation band.

According to the FB group where this first came up, the acetate is now back in the hands of a former member to go with the master tapes, and a re-issue is (hopefully!) Moving forward...

It is indeed back in the hands of the band member and IT WILL be released. I gave it back to them a week ago Sunday at a record show.

Just have to get a couple more band members on board for the official release... Hopefully this will happen by the end of this year. Still waiting on some key band members to fully commit..

Yes. The 1/2 inch multitrack tape, and a 1/4 inch mix down tape that was used to cut the acetate.
