I heard from the original bassist, Tommy. He played on the 45 but doesn't appear in the photos that Terry had. I'll have his update soon.
Dee Presson hasn't yet answered my email, but I will try again.

Tommy Taylor, bassist on the left sent me this photo of the group at the time of the contest that got them their record deal. The band changed substantially after the contest, and though most of this group is on the recording, all except Dee (12 string and vocals) soon left the group, either for the Army or other things.
