This is a copy i scored very cheap. Is that bootleg? Discogs does not list that label variation or in fact any edition of that album after 1966 (there was no reissues). This looks very much like original LP from 1966!

Seems like there are so many re-pressings and label variants on Thee Midniters records
that I've lost track. I'd guess that three out of four of their original LPs went through a
couple of pressings...at least for the mono versions.

My copy looks like the eBay listing. Except that "Stereo" is missing from the side 1 label, but is present on the side 2 label!

The dead wax is W-81366-A Stereo S-1182 1182 on side 1 W-81366-B Stereo S-1183 on side 2. All hand etched.

There is a small white "Stereo" sticker on the bottom of the front cover.

I have a variant for their Giants LP.

S-1182 would probably be a Rainbo Records pressing
u- prefix in runout would be United Superior plant

Which is original I'm not sure, but I think most Midniters LPs were kept available into the '70s.

Discogs is still a work in progress, which makes it interesting to contribute to. I added the variation of the Giants LP to the database just a couple weeks ago.
