Tom Kirby has shared his Tonto & The Renegades recollections with Ana Gonzalez, and she's printed a limited-edition book with many cool photos and the complete history of the band. The book is shaped like a 45-rpm single, and appears to be very well done.

From Ana:

Hello music lovers!

It's a pleasure to share with you all the detailed story of the coolest legend from the 60's Tonto & TheRenegades " Still spinning 'round at 45 r.p.m"

It has been an honour to have the opportunity to take back the memory...
and make my personal tribute to one of my favourite bands.

Although this is the story of Tonto & The Renegades it is a typical
familiar story to the thousands of groups who attempted to fulfill
their dreams making the big time during the music revolution of the
60's.

Now the dream is here for me, all my time, all my money, all my love
to thank this teenagers for making the great music that I love and
makes me keep going everyday in this grey world.

Absolutely recommended.

This is absolutely NOT true. Tom Kirby wrote it and all the content is his recollections. I'm not sure why this is misinterpreted by you and the publisher. How can a third party write an autobiography in the first person?

Of course are Tom's reflections, but Ana put in order the story and made some corrections to make the story nicer. She made a great job like talking with Dan Kroha to convince him to write few lines.
Believe me Greenfuzz I've lived this story almost in first person since the beginning.

Hello, I'm Ana. Actually the story of Tom Kirby that is printed is his story. I was born in 85 and obviously I was not there. I ask the things I was interested about the band , and he answered them. With those questions was made a story. It was too long and many things were beeing repetead so me and one of my best friends (american friend that knows english very well and probably you all know him ) made out a story out of that. Obviously IS HIS STORY . I just wanted to made a tribute about my favourite band and made a book THE STORY OF TOM KIRBY NOT MY STORY . It was something that I made with some very good friends and something very special and THAT IS ALL.
I guess you will always find people around to break your balls , I don't care! I just made it for fun and I'm not trying to have the attention or say that I'm a writter, I just did a tribute to my favourite band that is all.

It's a common thing that people collaborate with other authors when writing their autobiography. Although written in the first person it's not clear who actually wrote it or who wrote what or to what extent. No problem with that, as long as the story is true (or entertaining).
