Over 25 years of collecting UK beat/garage/psych I've managed to upgrade many of the acetates that I've purchased, these are few of my spares (all second only known copies, all tracks unreleased and uncompiled):
Jokers Wilde - Magic Words c/w Check Mate EMIDISC £425 super fuzz/freakbeat version similar to Birds Birds/organ led garage-beat mover , 1966 Walthamstow, London group (not pre-Floyd) - both sides amazing!
The Midnight Hour - In The Night c/w Don't Think Badly Of Me MODERN MUSIC CENTRE £125 crude beat/garage-folk, @1964/5 was told there's a Stones connection, but I've failed to find one!
The Paramounts - Poison Ivy c/w Further On Down The Road UNIVERSAL MUSIC CORP. £600 1963 demo version/polished R&B mover - total class!
Paul' s Disciples - I Wish You Would c/w I Just Wanna Make Love To You WHITE LABEL £400 (billed as unknown garage acetate on popsike) real raw and crudely recorded R&B @1964/5
The Pedlars - You Can't Judge A Book By The Cover c/w Please Come Back TONY PIKE MUSIC £200 nice R&B cover/moody beat with a sneering female vocal @1965 - a personal fave!
these are just the higher end items, sorry about the prices - this I just what I paid (in some cases many, many moons ago).
Of course trades, preferably UK obscurities, but also US garage or Aussie/Kiwi beat are very welcome!
