Tones & lots of recordings that never arrived to be pressed in holy polymer; A little homage to all those bands with really great musicians that unfairly never saw their music distributed. Acetates, demos, tapes....

Here's one demo from Morning Dew's No More. In my opinion, sounds better than they finally pressed

If I could only keep 5, they would be

Calico Wall - I'm A Living Sickness
Nightcrawlers - Want Me
Fanatics - Woman
Gentlemen - It's A Cry'n Shame (demo version)
Hallmarks - I Know Why

There was a garage band from here in Asheville, NC called the Satyrs that released one single recorded at a local hi-fi shop where the 45 was sold exclusively. Hopelessly tough to find. I've only seen one here in town. Anyway, I just met with a local guy who knows the guitar player's son and he was recently given a dub of 8 previously forgotten recordings they did at MARK V studios in Greenville. I don't want to over hype it but has surpassed my anticipation. Only one cover. Two good punkers, one cool soul/beach track, two byrds-y folk rockers, a moody follow up to the single and a rerecording of the A side of the 45 that's even better than the original! Unbelievable! I hope to steer them to a good label so you guys can all hear it cause you will flip!

"In This World, I Need Love," credited to the Trodden Path [but disavowed by the band] from the Cuca garage comp Ace put out.

Thanks in advance Greg!

Sounds great. How about Break-A-Way Records? Wolfgang Voelkel is doing a good job with releases like that. Recently he released two records of bands with unreleased material. From how you describe the Satyrs I'm sure he would be interested.
