I'm wondering how frequently those of you using a VPI Record Cleaner replace your cleaning brushes and "vacuum tubes"?

I've had mine for 25 years, and I've never replaced anything. The original wooden cleaning brushes are far superior to the new plastic ones. Twice as many bristles!

I've had mine 10 years or so. Still using the same LP & 45 brushes.I just give them a good rinsing and gentle wiping after any heavy use.
I've replaced each tube once as they got too dirty and uncleanable. Also, one more replacement of the LP tube when it cracked in my hand (too much finger pressure as I was moving it over into place).

I never liked the VPI auto liquid dispensing feature incorporated into the cleaning brush.. I apply the record cleaning fluid directly and use this Mobile Fidelity brush manually. It covers the entire 45 surface beginning to end across two inches width. It works WAY better in my experience.

I always had to hold/push the VPI brush down to make solid contact with the record; definitely a design flaw that using the Mo-Fi brush corrects.
