1980's Texas Garage Sales List

Thanks for sharing… Great to see those lists!

So to those who were there: Did you buy any records off those lists and what if so?

I was there (with very little money). These lists were high-end prices from collector to collector. Shutt even offered a cassette tape of his auction highlights which I found at the time to be much better value. Did much better scouring 45s from dealers who weren't aware of the value of their stock or hitting Shutt's leftover/last minute box at ARC. Recall that my haggling was done in dollar increments for the most part there too. Of course it wasn't impossible to find Zakary Thaks or the Wig at garage sales either,,,

/excuse me while I yell at clouds

I have lists from 1982-ish on. I think the fisrt big auction was 1984, it included the Just Too Much on M-Gee. I got a few downgrade cheapies in the 1980s like the good Liberty Bell for $8 or $10

The biggest/worst set sale disappointment for me was the Us Too on Jinx, a M- copy, for something like $60. 1995 or so. Still don't know who got it.....
