2 unissued Ikon tracks unearthed.

I've made contact with a local band no one remembers that recorded 2 songs at Ikon studios here in Sacramento. Working on getting these transfered soon. From original master tape. Great titles...

no...The guy with the tapes lives way up in Northern Cali and is going to take them to Alec's studio within the month. He didn't want to send them in the mail so he's going to hand deliver them to Alec. I can't wait

Bad news, the guy with the master tape showed up at Alec's studio and brought a tape recorded at Ikon with just a cover of a Searchers song. Now he can't seem to track down the proper tape if there ever was one. The band was called unbelievably....PUDDIN' BASIN' But I have some good news, we located a 2 sided acetate (mint) with 2 unreleased JOHN ROSASCO QUARTET tracks. Both cool and both better than the songs on the Ikon Story.

That's disappointing...but I'd like to hear the Searchers cover nonetheless one day.
