'60s Garage 45s with drum solos

Because there's a guitar on the drum break, it doesn't quite meet the requirements, but "Story Of My Life" (Unrelated Segments) does it for me.

Sorry. I meant the bits with just the drums pounding rhythmically in a syncopated pattern. It does have a slight variation when he bashes the hi-hat but that's probably a tambourine being smashed.

OK. It is not a solo. I am a fool. It was, until now, the only "drum solo" I ever loved.

Thanks all.
:tiphat:

"The Rub" by Joey Charles Drums on Dome - both the single (which has vocals by teen girl group The Delighters) and the instro version (a cut on the '66 Bmore's Teenbeat comp) have a big wacky drum solo. Next to 'Green Fuzz', 'The Rub' is easily my fave garage cut with a drum solo. It's definitely more on the "fratty"/early 60's side of things, but its primal as hell therefore worth mentioning

What case?
Jerry & the Others drummer is not playing a solo in the song. He is playing a rhythmic pattern without variation.

Mike, took a little ride today, met Joey Bellomo, and picked up Runabout/Steamer. Also this week rounded up the Melotones/Greenwoods EP with picture cover from Recollect Augustinian Seminary.
