Howdy, the bloke who is wholesaling these says they will be available in Europe via a record store or two.

Postage turned out to be $14.65 within Australia, so I was basically paying $30 for a limited edition LP. I think that's good value. Thanks Andrew!

I have recorded a five minute compilation of recently unearthed Down & Out tracks. Just email me at [email protected] if you want to hear it. Sound quality is better that the recorded one done through a hand-held mp3 recorder.
There is about 50 of them and I haven't listened to most of them yet!

Thanks, do you know which ones?

Sorry to take so long in getting back - as yet no word has been given as to which stores will stock them as people are still getting emailed. Once I have the total list I will post it here. All the wholesale copies will be posted at the same time so there is no staggering of records.

I should have added above that $30AUD is only $22USD which makes the LP super cheap - even at $35.95 it's only $25USD which is still a bargain for a limited pressing LP, especially considering that things cost more to do in Australia.

Those who go out on a limb to release '60s garage deserve our support.

When I first played this record I was a bit underwhelmed. I just thought it was okay. Then I realised my mistake. I wasn't playing it LOUD enough.

Nah, it's really good. I had also first thought the Thursday's Children tracks were out of place, but they've grown on me. I actually really like the version of Purple Haze. It sounds very unlike Hendrix.

Well done

Thanks, like you first mentioned "Purple Haze" wasn't my choice for the album being that it wasn't garage enough. I am hoping to find a better quality copy of Mel and the Embers' "I Want You Now" (written by Bobby Dean!). Oh, and there are another three rip snort Down and Out tracks for a proposed volume 2!! Can I saw these are better than what you have heard already on the album!!!
