60s garage covering itself - a (work in progress) list

Hooterville Trolley and Magic Sand are the exact same take

I hear a similarity between Finestuff - I Want You and The Thorns - I Want You. Not the same song, but the same riff and title and some vocal stylings/hooks as well... any connection there? The Thorns sounds like it coulda been an embryonic, cruder, version... they sound a bit too similar for it to be a coincidence...
...compare Thorns at 1:38 with Finestuff at 1:38 for example....

A double cover 45 (how many of these are there?): The Five Of Us "Hey You"/"I Don't Believe" (Platt) is slightly crude covers of both sides of the Guilloteens classic on HBR. The Five Of Us also put out "Hey You" on Current with a different flip, "Need Me Like I Need You."

Here's a few MN bands:
Dirty Ol' Man - Electras/ Meat Dept.
You Say - Nightcrawlers/Us
I feel the need to reply to this numbskull (myself) as he has mistakenly written "Dirty Ol' Man" when he (I) meant to write:
This Week's Children - Electras/Meat Dept.

Dammit! My first post and I already screwed things up!

As Long As You Want It - Ryell's Combo / The Treez

Thanks to Teenbeat Mayhem!

I Need Love - Mad Hatters / Time Stoppers
I Love You No More - Centuries / Blackstones

By the way anyone kindly can provide a sound file of the the Blackstones' version?
Never comped and I can't find it anywhere on the web...

Googling around for this track I found this old post (1999..) by Moptop Mike from the Bomp list:

Bob Irwin liked my idea to reissue the Blackstones stuff, but I'll have to
dig up a copy of "I Love You No More" to master from. Supposedly their
ex-manager has the tapes - he's missing in action, or pushin' up
daisies....

What went wrong with this cool project?

This definitely needs to happen, but probably never will.
