A few rare (and good) ones from Greece.
All sound clips are recorded from the record for sale using a Stanton Groovemaster V3 without any digital processing, so imperfections will be audible. Most records play better than their condition would indicate though.
I grade NM, EX, VG+, VG, G, FAIR, POOR, BAD. No VG++ or EX--.
Prices in euros. No PayPal fees. Postage is 6 euros via registered airmail (except Greece).

1) Dave Carroll & The Sing Sing Four - Take Me By The Hand / To Nisi Tis Haras (Make Me An Island) (Pan-Vox, 1969), VG+ (noc), 200
Fantastic UK sounding mod/freakbeat by this band that recorded an album and a few singles in Greece. This is the only original featured in the LP and by far their best track!

2) Gino & The Galaxies - Snap-Snap-Snap / Cleopatra In Bluejeens (Polydor, 1964), G/VG (wol), 170
One of my favorite 45s ever! Garage/surf style with a punk attitude, combining greek and english vocals! Just listen to both sides. A winner any day. Never found it in VG+ (my copy is VG). Always worn.

3) Teris Hryssos - Proistoria (Preistoria-Preistoria) / Ymnos Sti Hara (Song Of Joy) (Pan-Vox, 1970), VG+ (noc), 150
Fantastic and raw Berry Window cover plus a very very rare 7"!

4) Idols - Wanted By The Low / Reward (Parlophone, 1966), G (wol), 80
One of Greece's better garage/freakbeat 2-siders. If you need to hear the flip, let me know. It has many marks, but they're not deep. Misspelling of "Law".

5) Greeks - I Remember Only You / Dove Andare (Vendetta, 1967), GOOD (stain on label), 80
Great tune with guitar, organ and even some sax in the end! Not for every garage fan, but it is special in its own way.

6) Olympians - Panta S'Agapo / Hopeless Endless Way (Philips, 1967), G/VG, 70
A classic and well known tune in the "usual" condition. I guess people played it because it was Olympians, but I doubt there were actual fans.

7) Marina - I Agapi / An Tihi Na Perasete Apo Ki (Zodiac, 1970), strong VG (noc), 100
My last copy of this fuzzed up female psych/freakbeat gem. Last price too.

8) Playboys - Zito Na Vro Mia Agapi (Looking For A Love) / Mesanyhta Sti Rodo (RCA Victor, 1966), strong VG (sol), 150
Great mid-tempo garage/freakbeat, but maybe not for everyone's ears, due to greek lyrics. Very rare.

9) New Hopes - Koritsi Ksantho (Blond Girl) / Mia Agapi Esvise (Olympic, 1970), VG, 100
Another one sung in Greek. Organ dominated mid-tempo psych/freakbeat with extraordinary guitar and bass licks. Got to love it.

10) Caridas w/Charms - OK Charm / Unchained (Popular, 1964), VG+, 90
Somebody told me this was a cover of a US tune and I'm sure it is (credits are not shown on label), but I don't remember which one. It's Charms' first record in Greece though and they definitely show their talent right away.

I still have more items to list, so if you have any pop/rock Greek wants, just let me know.

Also, please visit my page on discogs and see if you find something of interest.
If you can't read the titles, trust the sound clips where applicable ;)

Could use a Stormies "Try, Try, Try" if you have a nice one at a reasonable price...

Last copy I've sold was for 170 euros in G condition and before that a G/VG for 300. It all depends on how nice it plays though, usually better than the visual condition, but for a VG+ copy I'd ask easily 400. Sorry, but it's probably the best Greek 2-sider along with the Rabbits.
