You got a bottle of CONTACT HYPE from BossHoss. Now you are wondering what to do with it. You have come to the right place.
None of these suggestions are original with me, but are collected from various posts by Mark.
CONTACT HYPE is intended to be painted on the prongs of power cords, on analog interconnect cable plugs, digital cable plugs and Ethernet cable connectors.
Only a thin coat needs to be painted on the various contacts. CONTACT HYPE is non-condutive so you don't have to worry about causing a short. Mark has suggested the following:
1. With the applicator on tight, always shake the bottle before each application.
2. Dip the applicator into the bottle.
3. Wipe off the excess paint on the sides of the bottle opening.
4. Apply a thin coat to the prong or plug or connector that you are working on.
On a 3 prong power plug, paint both sides of the thin blades & also paint the round ground connector.
I suggest the first thing you do is build what I call an outlet farm. This is a power strip with 3 way adapters plugged in & then plastic baby guards plugged into the 3 way adapters.

This gives you the best bang for the buck and is easy to construct once you have the parts.
The baby guards look like this:

I have not been able to find them locally, but Amazon sells them:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KWT9LS1 They cost $9 for 38.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086134T3T These cost $12 for 60 & are not quite as nice but perfectly adequate.
The 3 way adapters are also on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09JT46KF5 They cost $11.50 for 3.
The same 3 way adapters in orange are available at Harbor Freight Tool Stores for $3 each:
https://www.harborfreight.com/elect...-strips/three-way-grounded-adapter-47962.html
For the power strips, you want ones that have the same spacing as regular duplex outlets so that you can put a 3 way adapter in each outlet.
Again I couldn't find any locally, I got 2 from NewEgg. Unfortunately, they have been discontinued. NewEgg no longer carries them.
This website says that they have them in stock. But I don't know anything about this seller:
https://www.dihuni.com/shop/power-c...ors/cyberpower-b603mgy-metal-surge-protector/
If anyone finds a suitable power strip, please post it here.
If you want to go big, Harbor Freight Tools has 4 foot long 12 outlet power strips that work great for $20:
https://www.harborfreight.com/elect...strips/12-outlet-super-power-strip-96737.html
Here is one fully configured:

Assembling an outlet farm is easy. Remember to shake the bottle of CONTACT HYPE. Take a baby guard. Then paint all 3 prongs with a thin coat of CONTACT HYPE. Then plug the baby guard into one of the outlets on the 3 way adapter. Then replace the cap and shake the bottle of CONTACT HYPE again. Then paint 2 more baby guards & plug them in. Then paint the prongs on the 3 way adapter. Then plug the 3 way adapter into the power strip. When all outlets are filled on the power strip, plug the power strip into the same wall plug that your stereo is plugged into. Use a 3 way adapter if necessary. There should be nothing else plugged into the outlet farm. There should be no completed circuits. Even so, magic will happen. You will probably notice an improvement in sound quality right away. But, in my experience, the full effect takes 24 hours. So, leave the outlet farm plugged in. You will not believe the result after 24 hours. Don't ask me why it works. All I know is that it works!
After the outlet farm, I would suggest that you unplug each component of your stereo in turn & paint the prongs on the power plugs. Then remove & paint the analog interconnect cable plug ends. Then paint the digital cable plugs. Then paint the Ethernet connectors. You may want to dilute a small amount of CONTACT HYPE with isopropyl alcohol for the tiny contacts on an Ethernet cable. Then paint the prongs on every power cord plugged into an outlet in your house. Paint the prongs on a baby guard & plug it into any unused outlets in your house. Or better yet, paint 3 baby guards & then plug them into a 3 way adapter & plug it into an unused outlet.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Ask here or start a conversation with me.
Happy listening!
